1) Welcome I stamped Unit 7 Wk 4 in class. I collected donations for tie-dye (see letter) I am asking for a $2.00 donation to cover the cost of all Materials. we will do this lab at the end of May. 2) Classwork Get out your Unit 7 Wk 4. We are going over energy transfers in reactions Problems 3-5 you did for homework. I posted the powerpoint (Energy in Reaction) and a lecture online for these problems!!!! Exothermic energy is released to the outside.....We may add a little energy to start but once started the reaction releases MASSIVE amount of energy....Think COMBUSTION. Endothermic reactions require energy goes in....We need to add heat continually or the reaction stops. We then whiteboarded the Supplemental Problems. I posted the solutions in Google Classroom. If you sre still having trouble please look at the lectures online and the answer keys in google classroom. 3) Homework: Unit 7 Objectives and Review are due Tuesday 4/4/17.
