Start of the day: I passed out color paper for your safety posters We finished going over the safety rules and watched a safety video Class/Lab work: 1)We discussed Lab 1 and I went over the important information in my syllabus. 2) Discussion and examples of Sketchnotes and how to use them in Chemistry. 3) Pringles Can Demo: In your notebook describe the demo and then explain what you think happened. Try using sketch notes. 4) I passed out an article on Physical and Chemical Changes. Read the article and annotate the text. Homework: Read and annotate the article on Physical and Chemical Changes. Then go back and revise your explanations from Demo 1 and Exp. 1. Back to School Night this Monday 8/27/18 so please tell your parents. |
